Going to Mexico!Sandy Vaale (seated) and her family drove to Mexico this July to build a home for a mother and her five children. She and her students made a quilt for the mother so we offered to gather five quilts for the children. Of course the Prince George quilting community is very generous and we had no problem collecting quilts. We even had an ex-PG gal, now from Powell River, send us a quilt. The group in Mexico she works with is called "Welcome Home Outreach". This is one of the many groups-in-need that we'd like to support. If you wish to find out how you can be part of making people warm and comfortable through your donated quilts then come in and talk to us.
